Nectar is a sugar-rich liquid produced by plants. It is produced either by the flowers, in which it attracts pollinating animals or by extrafloral nectaries, which provide a nutrient source to birds and butterflies. It is produced in glands called nectaries. Nectar is an nutritional important sugar source for nectar.Hummingbirds, sunbirds, lories, fructivoren and nectivoren feed on nectar.
Nectar is derived from Latin nectar "drink of the gods", also called "sweet liquid in flowers". Floral nectaries are generally located at the base of the perianth, so that pollinators are made to brush the flower's reproductive structures, the anthers and pistil, while accessing the nectar.
LoriNectar contains all necessary nutrients, carbohydrates, protein, fats, minerals, vitamins and amino acids required by your birds. Mixing with other supplements is advised against, because Nectar~Lori contains all necessary nutrients. Nectar~Lori contains 21 different essential and non-essential amino acids with an extra increased amount of the amino acids L-methionine, L-arginine, L-threonine and 5-Hydroxy L-tryptophan. The addition of 0.5% Spirulina prevents the food acidifying. You only could supply Nectar~Lori once a day.
The durability is at least 24 hours. The Phytro nutrients in the spirulina , has a very positive effect on the colouring of the feathers. It can be, scientifically, that the Lories need only nectar, but you must, because of variations, also feed a firm food as well, such as fruit, apple, pear, grapes, orange, pomegranate, papaya, guave, banana and cactus figs.
Many Lories like to eat flowers, such as Fuchsia, Begonia, Wallflowers, Honeysuckle, Dandelion and other flowers to receive the nectar. Our special mixture of vitamins, minerals, trace elements and amino acids are constantly under medical scientific control.
Preparation and dosage:
Take 15 grams (one full scoop, which is attached) in 100 ml of water. This stirs you good, until you have a homogeneous liquid.
